India registers 2,139 new COVID-19 cases, active cases decline to 26,292 – ET HealthWorld

New Delhi: India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 219.09 (2,19,09,69,572) crore. So far, more than 4.10 (4,10,93,959) crore adolescents have been administered the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
3,208 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours and the cumulative tally of recovered patients is now at 4,40,63,406. Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.76 per cent.
2,139 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours. India’s active caseload currently stands at 26,292. Active cases now constitute 0.06 per cent of the country’s total positive cases.
The last 24 hours saw a total of 2,64,216 COVID-19 tests being conducted. India has so far conducted over 89.76 (89,76,19,571) crore cumulative tests. The weekly positivity rate in the country currently stands at 1.13 per cent and the daily positivity rate is reported to be 0.81 per cent.
